    Chemical and Allied Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL)

    The Ministry of Commerce; the Government of India established the Chemical and Allied Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL) to promote the export of Chemical-based and Allied Products from India. The primary objective of CAPEXIL is to bring about exports of chemical and allied products to various destinations globally and to provide export assistance to chemical product exporters. The Council, headquartered in Kolkata, works towards boosting the growth of the chemical industry by conducting international trade fairs, exhibitions, and other promotional activities.     BulletAssists its members in locating and pinpointing the source of their requirements. It also helps to effect a smooth trade deal between buyers and sellers to offer a total service package, completely free.
    BulletIs the Nodal agency appointed by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry for compliance of REACH legislation of the European Union.
    BulletParticipates in the Grievance Committee Meetings organized by the DGFT from time to time and take up issues of the member-exporters connected with Customs, Central Excise, Port Authorities, etc. and try to resolve the same
    BulletParticipates in the Review Meetings as well as Task Force Meetings being organized by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry from time to time to chalk out strategies for promotion of exports of the items coming under the purview of the Council with presentations covering suggestions/views being received from its members.
    BulletPrepares and submit to the Ministry of Commerce & Industry Annual Action Plan for promotion of exports of the items coming under its purview, covering Budget Proposals for participation in various international exhibitions/Buyer Seller Meets/ being held abroad as well as in India for the benefit of its member-exporters.
    BulletIssues Recommendation letters addressed to various overseas Consulates/Embassies in India for issue of Visas for the member-exporters for attending Exhibitions/delegations as well as export/business promotion tours abroad.
    BulletHas been authorized by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry to issue Non-preferential Certificates of Origin to its member-exporters for export of their items to various countries abroad on the condition that the said items are covered under our purview and are manufactured in India.

    • Statistical information: The member of CAPEXIL can get the latest statistical data on India’s exports and imports. The registered trader can get the details of the World’s Imports and Exports of a wide range of products.
    • Visa Assistance: The Chemical and Allied Export Promotion Council provides visa assistance for business visits abroad.
    • Disbursement of Grants: CAPXIL members can avail of financial assistance through various market assistance programs

    • Market Reports & Trends: The CAPEXIL members can get the details of market reports, analysis of Indian export trends across the country, product or other parameters, and valuable resources of global trade data
    • Buyer-Seller Meets: The council members can participate in the national workshops, organizing seminars and buyer-seller meets conducted by the CAPEXIL.

    1. The applicant needs to scan and upload the required document per the criteria of CAPEXIL.

      For Manufacturer Exporter

      • Import Export Code (IEC) issued by the licensing authority
      • Personal Account Number (PAN)
      • Industrial License / Manufacturing License issued by the licensing authority
      • Self-declaring that the firm is not blocked by any Government Departments or Government Organization

      For Merchant Exporter

      • Chartered Accountant’s Certificate mentioning Export Turnover or Domestic Turnover in respect of CAPEXIL’s products for the last two years
      • Import Export Code (IEC) issued by the licensing authority
      • Personal Account Number (PAN)
      • Industrial License / Manufacturing License issued by the licensing authority
      • Self-declaring that the firm is not blacklisted by any Government Departments or Government Organization
